I'm halfway through my fall semester at SJC. Yep, it's midterms here. I'm mostly done with all of those too; I only have to finish up my ceramics project. I have my giant vase claybody finished. I just need to come up with the surface embellishment, one of the major focuses of the assignment. Right now, I'm thinking making some kind of spiraling design emanating from the top with holes poked all the way through. Then, I can put a battery-powered tea light candle in the bottom and have the light flicker causing shadow effects through the holes. We'll see.

In other news, I've overhauled my gallery and folder system, weeding out older stuff and reorganizing everything. I've also created my daPortfolio for professional use which is available here or by viewing the gallery at my regular website (ARDudichPhotography.webs.com).

I'm also working on some fun surface design textile projects. You can see some of my recent work in that area in the Amofasi Series. However, I'm now working on a much larger scale project, 2x3' of semi-abstract batik. Yep. I'm excited.
